Show Notes

On this week’s episode of The Undone Redone Podcast, Tray and Melody discuss their trip to speak at the Utah Coalition Against Pornography Conference in St. George, Utah and how a road sign at the Valley of Fire National Park got them thinking about marriage. Seeing all the amazing beauty on display in the park alongside the obvious dangers, a “dangerous curves ahead” road sign made them realize that marriage is very similar. It is full of amazing beauty, but at the same time there are “dangerous curves ahead”. Most of us go into marriage thinking that no road signs are needed because the road ahead is straight as an arrow with a very easy to navigate surface. In reality, we should enter marriage with the expectation that the road ahead is windy and dangerous at times, but well worth the journey due to the breathtaking beauty marriage brings to our lives. It’s by accepting that truth that couples can begin to work through those problems and find lasting, positive change in their relationship.
